The quick feature is being introduced in the world’s most popular messaging application WhatsApp which will definitely be liked because it will not be able to use their profile images for any purpose.
One feature is being tried in the WhatsApp’s Android Beta version, with which no one else will be able to save the photos’ profile of their friends on their device.
According to WABetaInfo, a watch-watch account on WhatsApp updates, the feature’s ability to save profile photos in the WhatsApp is being eliminated and this feature is currently available in the latest Android beta version.
However, this feature has the option to download group icons.
When this feature will be available to all the users, it is hard to say, but it is likely that users will be available in the next few weeks.
This type of feature is also available on Facebook, which was introduced in the name of a photo guard in 2017.
No one can download or share a user’s profile photo in this feature.
In this feature, a user’s profile gets a slope around a blue-barred image that gives protection to it.
Introducing this feature, Facebook said that in developing countries, women are scared to share photos on this social networking website, because they fear that they should not be used for any wrong purpose.
Potentially considering the idea in the WhatsApp, this new feature is being worked on.
