‘Resurrection: Ertugrul’ will be aired on PTV soon

Although Turkish dramas and films have been translated into Urdu for the past several years in Pakistan, Pakistani fans have been waiting for the release of the Turkish drama Resurrection: Ertugrul, based on the story of Muslim conquest.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had already given instructions on broadcasting Pakistan Television (PTV) by translating ‘Resurrection: Ertugrul’ into Urdu and now news has come out that the drama will be aired soon.

Arab News said in its report that special information and broadcasting by PTV management and the Prime Minister’s Assistant Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan confirmed that the Turkish drama will be presented in Urdu soon.

According to Firdous Ashiq Awan, Prime Minister Imran Khan wants the pre-eminent drama based on Islamic history and Muslim conquests to be presented in Urdu so that people can get acquainted with Islamic history.

Shazia Alexander, head of PTV’s international affairs, also confirmed that the Turkish drama ‘Resurrection: Ertugrul’ will be aired on PTV soon.

Shazia Alexander said that PTV has acquired the rights to the Turkish drama from the Turkish state-owned broadcasting agency TRT and that translation and dubbing have begun.

Shazia Sikandar said that radio and TV celebrities are being recruited for dubbing in the drama of the historical drama ‘Resurrection: Ertugrul’.

Although Firdous Ashiq Awan and Shazia Sikander soon confirmed ‘Dililesh Artaghrul’ to be aired on PTV, they did not say how long the drama would be aired.

The play is also called Turkey’s ‘Game of Thrones’ and it is of the utmost importance for Islamic conquests in the 13th century.

The story of Resurrection: Ertugrul plays before the establishment of the ‘Empire of the Ottomans’ in the 13th century and the central story of the play revolves around a brave Muslim soldier named ‘Ertugrul Gul’, also known as ‘Ertugrul Ghazi’.

The play shows how Ertugrul Gul, a Turkish soldier in the 13th century, bravely fought the Mongols, the Crusaders, and the oppressors, and maintained his victories.

The play depicts the rule, bravery, and love of the Ottoman Empire before the Ottoman Empire.

The drama has already been aired in 60 languages ​​in different countries in the world before it was presented in Urdu in Pakistan.
