HMD Global has started sending Android 11 updates to two smartphones known as Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 2.3 since 2018.
In the first wave, Nokia 8.1 will receive updates in Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Macau, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam. In these countries, 10% of units will receive instant notification of updates, while 50% by April 10 and 100% by April 12. In the second wave, the update will come in other countries and regions.
Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 2.3 get Android 11
In the first wave, Nokia 2.3 was launched in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Latvia, Laos, Lithuania, Macau, Malaysia, Nepal, Norway, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Sweden, and Vietnam. In these countries, 10% of units receive instant update notifications, 50% by April 10, and 100% by April 12. The second wave will involve other countries.
Android 11 was released on September 8, 2020. This is the eleventh major release and the 18th adaptation of Android. This mobile operating system is developed by the Google-led Open Handset Alliance and is the newest Android version ever. The first public beta release was originally scheduled for June 3 at Google I / O.
