New details on American Horror Story Season 10 have just been unveiled, including an all-new twisted plot, which stars are set to return, and even some first-timers added to the iconic list of the recurring cast.
For all you American Horror Story fans, the cryptic photo teases have commenced, as creator Ryan Murphy and crew are gearing up for yet another wild season that’ll probably once again cause me to sleep with the light on for months following… #noshame.
Following the ninth season, AHS: 1984, which ended in November of 2019, just months before the pandemic began, not many details were unveiled about the delayed 10th season– however, Ryan has since been teasing new details about the upcoming season on Instagram.
He shared a video earlier this week with the name of Season 10, “Double Feature,” which, according to the video, will consist of “two horrifying stories in one season,” and by the looks of it, is set to take place in a coastal setting.
The teaser video also revealed that one story would take place by the sea and one by the sand, and maybe I’m missing something, but don’t those two go hand-in-hand…? Ryan also shared a promo photo of a skull buried in the sand, which seems to coincide perfectly with this cryptic nautical theme.
All-new faces are set to scare the you-know-what-out fans, as Ryan also mentioned that both Kaia Gerber and Macaulay Culkin would be added to the growing cast list. Earlier today, it was also announced that Paris Jackson would also dabble in the horror acting genre.
Production sources revealed to TMZ that Paris would appear in at least one episode of the upcoming season, and as for whether she’ll be making a cameo by the sea or the sand, it’s been confirmed that she’ll star in the second mini-season by the sand.
As for the recurring cast, it has been rumored by some of the show’s social media news accounts that AHS vet Evan Peters will star as a drag queen in Double Feature, and although there are very few details regarding her role, the legendary Sarah Paulson is also slated to return. Needless to say, the long-awaited 10th season of American Horror Story is gearing up to be a wild and gruesome ride, but we’re totally here for it.
