Justice for Lady Gaga, Ryan Fischer, her dog walker & her French Bulldogs has been SERVED as word on the street because the alleged dognappers have finally been arrested; let’s get into what we know.
Back on February 24th, Lady Gaga’s dog walker Ryan Fischer was doing his nightly walk with Gaga’s three French Bulldogs while she was away in Rome filming her upcoming movie, ‘Gucci.’
While out in West Hollywood just before 10 PM, a white car sped up and stopped right where Ryan was walking the Frenchies. Two armed men jumped out of the car, pulled out a gun, fired a round of shots at Ryan, and were able to get away with two of the three dogs. Ryan was shot in the chest area, and Gaga’s black Frenchie, Asia, was recovered from the crime scene.
Ryan was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound and was expected to make a full recovery; however, upon being discharged from ICU, Ryan was immediately rushed back due to complications in his lungs.
Ryan said one of his lungs didn’t cooperate and kept collapsing, and it reached a point where he was readmitted for surgery to remove portions of it, and as he puts it … “my recovery had become anything but a straight line.
In a restricted video on Instagram, Ryan posted a video of him dancing in his hospital room, captioning it, “I’m finding my way in the outside world where triggers are real and working through trauma is WAY more than dealing with one unfortunate moment in life.” We continue to wish all the best for Ryan in his recovery & healing process.
After the dognapping, the robbers/attempted murders remained at large, which prompted Gaga to issue a reward of 500,000 dollars “No questions asked.” Days later, the two Frenchies were found tied to a pole in an alleyway where a female civilian happened to stumble upon them.
TMZ reported the dogs were found MILES away from the crime scene and where they were abducted. According to TMZ, “Law enforcement sources believe the woman who found the dogs is a Good Samaritan who happened upon the dogs and recognized them from all the media attention.” Thankfully the woman saw the email address posted and took them to a nearby police station, and the dogs were reportedly unharmed.
Upon retrieving the two dogs, Police advised Gaga NOT to pay the $500k until they could assess the woman further to find out if she had any connection to the crimes. Since the tragic incident, the robbers/attempted murders have remained at large with zero consequences. However, that all changed on Thursday, April 29th!
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, five people have been arrested in connection with the shooting of Ryan, who was walking the dogs, and the theft of Gaga’s two French bulldogs. The LAPD said four of the five are known gang members from Los Angeles.
TMZ exclusively reported that “the alleged culprits were arrested on a variety of charges, including attempted murder and robbery.” Three of the five criminals were charged with one count each of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, and second-degree robbery.
The other two suspects were charged with one count each of accessory after the fact. And I know you’re eager to find out exactly how law enforcement NABBED these dognappers! Well, thank goodness for technology… Police were able to obtain video footage of the alleyway where the dogs were left tied to a pole days after the February 24th crime.
This footage became vital evidence in hunting down the alleged criminals who are now behind bars! In a shocking turn of events, the “good samaritan” who found the dogs and turned them into the Police has ALSO been arrested.
Cops initially believed the crimes to be part of a gang initiation but later retracted this idea and attributed it to a dog-stealing ring. French Bulldogs are a hot commodity among dog owners and can sell upwards of $10 thousand.
