As always, Google has once again become the first choice for users, but in terms of traffic and comment volume, this time it has become the number one review site in the United States.

Based on online analysis of customer data, a detailed review shows that the survey gap has also increased 67% of product or service reviews that have been posted on Google (including the local guides being instrumental).

On the other hand, Yelp only has 2% of reviews, while Facebook only has 7%. The most surprising thing is that the report also shows that the average ranking on Google is higher than any other platform. Google’s review platform is 3.7, but on Google, it is 4.5. The difference may be due to Google’s limited comment policy and the likelihood of website comment fraud being higher than Facebook or Yelp.

Fortunately for users, the results of the report also show that although reviews are now getting shorter and shorter, 78% of people have text ratings, not just stars. Tactics (e.g. email and SMS) are 45% of survey requests received via SMS.

The company’s response speed is slow, most companies only respond to 30% of the reviews. They spend a lot of money and do a great effort to get the reviews but don’t bother to respond a lot. Overall, Google dominates the local “review economy” because it is easy for everyone involved (buyers and sellers). However, for the ecosystem, this is still a bad signal.
