PTA extends 3G/4G licenses for the three operators of AJK and GB

Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan mobile phone license renewal ceremony was held today at the PTA headquarters in Islamabad.

Three mobile operators such as Telenor Pakistan, PMCL (Jazz), and PTML (Ufone) paid 190 billion rupees (50% of the license fee stipulated by PTA) to PTA’s license renewal fee. On this occasion, the PTA chairman praised the efforts of mobile operators to play a key role in providing connectivity to these regions.

Interested PTA, FAB, and MoIT officials worked tirelessly to complete the update process on time. He also stated that AJ&K and GB are the top tourist areas in Pakistan, and the license renewal will pave the way for consumers and tourists in these areas to provide 3G/4G and next-generation cellular services. On this occasion, the Minister of Information Technology and Technology, Ph.D. Muhammad Sohail Rajput asked mobile operators to renew their licenses. Also attending this event were Elenor, Jazz, and Ufone, as well as high-level representatives of the marketing director.
