Google Chrome is going to add a built-in screenshot function to the share menu

Google is the technology giant of the 21st century, involved in all fields of the digital world. With more than 108 technology companies and generations of inspiration for new improvements, Google is at the forefront of global digital transformation. In addition, they have also entered the operating system and browsing fields dominated by Microsoft and Apple, and successfully launched Chromebook, Android, and Chrome.

However, after years of development, Google finally saw the need: its Chrome library lacks the built-in function of taking screenshots in Google Chrome. The importance of this is realized from the accessibility and sharing of information and the fact that it is now easy to operate and record large amounts of information. It also leads to relatively fast information exchange and efficiency in transmission modes, especially when graphics and text are linked to data for sharing.

This report comes from Leo Varela via the popular social network Reddit, in which he attached a few pictures to show the features and details of the screenshot options that Google developers have not yet shown to the public.

However, another user reported this to Redditor, Chrome can already choose to take screenshots. Although this surprised many people, some people said that this option belongs to the domain of browser developers and is not user-friendly or easy to use. It is just a basic snapshot creation tool and does not allow graffiti or cropping.

This should be kept in mind when referring to snapshot technology. Going back to Leo Varela’s discovery, he suggested that this feature should be provided in the share menu with a special screenshot icon. So far, the Chrome team has not made a final decision on this much-needed feature, how and when it will work.

This feature is expected to be introduced because almost all competitors, including Microsoft Edge, have introduced this feature along with cropping options and annotation capabilities. Once we understand how Google works and its competitive ethics, we will soon see new features of actual operation when viewing through social media and communication platforms. It is expected that this feature will also come with several additional updates, including options to split tags and track multiple accounts.
