Kemi Badenoch has finished delivering her speech to the Conservative party conference in Birmingham, according to BBC News.

BBC analysis points to a widening gap between the Conservative leader’s own standing and that of her party. While Badenoch’s personal poll numbers are on the up, the same cannot be said for the Tories as a whole, the BBC reports.

The BBC’s Nomia Iqbal examines the challenges Badenoch now faces in a video item running 49 seconds.

Related BBC coverage includes a clip titled “Badenoch: Tories must not let Reform ‘take us backwards'”, along with interviews in which young Conservatives give their views on how Britain could be better and on whether their party should strike a deal with Reform UK.
