The first ever “Most Noble Numbers” charity auction has raised significant funds for a “AA8” number plate worth 3.5 million Dirham, which is the world’s 3rd-most expensive number plate.
The number plate “AA8” sold for a bid of Dh35million (173,284,774.08 Pakistani Rupees).
The charity auction, held in Dubai, sold exclusive car plates, and number of mobile phones.
The campaign raised a total of Dh53 million for 50 countries. It is now ready to start providing food to vulnerable communities around the world.
In their first 15 days, the regions’ biggest distribution drive has secured over 340 million meals.
Emirates Auction and the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai launched a campaign to provide meals for 53 million people.
A double-digit car number plate, F55, sold at a high price of Dh4 million. Another cars plate, V66, also fetched Dh4 million. Y66 sold at a nicer price of Dh3.8 million.
In an auction last year, the plate number AA9 was sold for DH38 million.
