The auto industry in Pakistan has seen several companies announce price rises in recent months. Virtually all of the well-known brands have announced price hikes and Changan is no exception. The Chinese automaker Changan recently announced new prices for its Alsvin sedan and Oshan X7 SUV.
Changan Increase Prices in Pakistan 2022
The responsible managers at the organization have explained that substantially increasing prices is a consequence of devaluation of the Pakistani rupee versus the dollar, freight expenses, and rising costs of raw materials, including wages.
The table below shows the price hikes, applicable from May 9th 2022.

Changan Customers whose full allotments have been made before the deadline, before 9 May, will get their vehicle at the current rate, while Alsvin customers whose balances have been paid partially will acquire the vehicle at the old price if they can pay the remainder by May 16.
Changan has recently made a successful entry into the SUV sector with its crossover SUV Oshan X7, introducing new features in the vehicle and providing CKD units for the Pakistani industry. Despite its efforts, Changan must continue with its pricing strategy like the rest of the industry.
