The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced a revised date for the matric exams, which have been postponed due to the PTI imran Khan Long March in Islamabad.
The postponed matriculation examinations, which were previously intended for 25 and 26 May, will now be retaken on 8 and 9th June, according to the official announcement issued by the Controller of Examinations.
The rescheduling of matric written examinations has postponed the commencement of practical exams, which will now take place on June 10 instead of June 6.
Students can visit the FBISE website to obtain their updated roll number slips. The remaining matric examinations will take place on time, according to the announcement.
Earlier this week on Tuesday, the FBISE confirmed to hold all final examinations for matric as initially scheduled amidst the uncertain law and order situation in Islamabad.
Moreover, late on Tuesday night, the FBISE decided to delay all annual exams for matric originally scheduled to be held on 25 and 26 May.
