The FIFA World Cup Trophy trip will be coming to Pakistan on June 7, 2022, ahead of the Football World Cup in Qatar.
The tour kicked off yesterday in Dubai, where Iker Casillas and Kaka put the first FIFA Trophy Tour on display.
“We are now in a position to confirm that the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca Cola is intending to visit Islamabad on June 7,” a FIFA spokesperson said.
The FIFA World Cup organizers have confirmed that the trophy will travel from Uzbekistan to Pakistan and stay with the country for a day before flying to Saudi Arabia.
It’s uncertain whether the FIFA-appointed normalization committee in Pakistan will be explicitly participating in the World Cup trophy tour or not as the country is suspended from FIFA s membership.
