According to well-placed sources, the PML-N-led union government has agreed to seal Islamabad’s Red Zone by tonight in order to avoid possible any terrible situation because of to the PTI’s Imran Khan Azadi March on May 25.
According to sources familiar with the situation, the Red Zone will be completely sealed from today, with the exception of Margalla Road.
“All roads leading to the Red Zone will be blocked tonight, barring Margalla Road,” warned people who are familiar with the government’s anti-protest tactics.
They said that shipping containers will be put at the Red Zone’s entry and entrance points.
It’s worth noting that the D-Chowk in Islamabad has previously been shut off by the placement of containers.
Imran Khan Azadi March will Start From 25 May
PTI Chairman Imran Khan, who announced the Imran Khan Azadi March on Sunday, urged party workers and other members of society to travel to the capital city in effort to accomplish the country’s “real independence.”
He demanded that the National Assembly be dissolved and that a date be set for new ‘fair and free’ elections in the country.
The PTI chairman also warned against establishing hurdles for the protesters.
