KPL’s management has decided to invite former Indian captain Virat Kohli for the upcoming second edition of the franchise event.

We have decided to send a formal invitation for Virat Kohli’s participation in KPL 2. Our job is to go forth in peace, now it’s up to him, whether or not he accepts it.
“We are ready to host other Indian players as well. We believe that sports is the only way to bridge the gap between the two countries,” he added.
While discussing preparations for the second edition of the KPL, Malik said it would be bigger and better than the last one. “Like the first season, new season will also be an cricket entertainment for fans of the sport here,” he said.
“I know situation wasn’t ideal in previous season, but things will get better by the time,” he concluded.
