The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) approved a Rs3.99 per unit increase in electricity prices on Monday.
The monthly fuel price adjustment for April has been announced, and it will apply to all customers except Karachi-Electric and lifeline.
NEPRA approved a massive increase in electricity tariffs of Rs7.91 per unit earlier this month.
The tariff increase has been justified by the rupee’s depreciation and rising international oil prices.
