Pakistan’s cricket team has moved up to 3rd spot in the ICC ODI rankings after a period of 15 years.
According to the most recent rankings, New Zealand and England remain first and second, respectively, while Pakistan has displaced Australia from third place after losing to Sri Lanka in the first ODI.
The Babar Azam-led ODI team has performed admirably in the format, winning four of five series. Pakistan surpassed India in the One-Day International rankings for the first time in 15 years last week.
Pakistan won the three-match One-Day International series against Australia 2-1 this year and then whitewashed the West Indies last week. Pakistan has climbed in the ODI rankings for the second time this month.
