Peoples Bus Service Finish Test Drive In Karachi

According to Reports, the Sindh government finished the test run of the Peoples Bus Service plan in Karachi without incident.

The 140 buses, which were recently imported from China, completed the 29-kilometer journey without incident.

Sharjeel Inam Memon, Sindh Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit, and his provincial cabinet colleagues Saeed Ghani and Waqar Mehdi took a ride from Model Colony to Avari Tower on Sharea Faisal.

Ghani told the media that after the test drive, 240 buses will run on seven different routes in Karachi.

“140 of the total 250 buses have arrived, and the rest of the vehicles are expected to arrive soon,” he said, adding that 240 of the 250 buses will work in Karachi and the remaining 10 in Larkana.

“In the first phase of the project, buses will begin operating on two routes in Karachi,” he said, adding that the project will be inaugurated soon by CM Murad Ali Shah.
