On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, All Pakistan Private Schools Federation announced the public holidays for the educational institutions in Pakistan.

According to the President of the APSF Kashif Mirza, private schools across the country will observe six-day Eid holidays between 30 April to 5 May.

“Schools will resume their regular schedules on Friday, 6 May,” he added.

The University of Baluchistan has issued a notification announcing the Eid holidays. According to the notice, the university will remain closed from May 2nd to May 6th.

The federal government announced a four-day public holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr this year.

The PTV News released that the federal cabinet has added four religious holidays to the calendar in May.

The interior ministry had forwarded a summary of three public holidays for the Islamic festival Eid. However, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif approved four different holidays for the religious Islamic festival Eid.
