NS&I raises British savings bond rates above 5% but experts warn deals may be short-lived
National Savings & Investments has increased rates on its British savings bonds to between 4.99% and 5.17%, the first time in nearly three years they exceed 5%. However, analysts caution that competitive deals often disappear quickly once providers attract sufficient deposits.
