GM Q3 sales fall 5.5% as EV demand slumps; Toyota gains on hybrids
General Motors sold 670,974 new vehicles in the third quarter, a 5.5% year-over-year decline, as EV sales collapsed across its lineup. Toyota rose 0.6% with electrified models making up more than 57% of its sales, while Honda posted a 9.3% gain.
