During the 39th over of Pakistan’s first innings in the second ODI against West Indies, cameras captured an unusual event as a fan ran into the ground.

The fan refuted security to get to the pitch and meet his favorite player. Running to Shadab Khan at the striker’s end, the fan saluted the star all-rounder in respect and admiration.

The match came to a halt for a brief moment as Shadab Khan hugged a fan. The man then dashed back to the stands to celebrate his meeting with the star cricketer.
The match was resumed without the need for security to intervene; however, the fans were later questioned by the agencies.
