WhatsApp recently unveiled a new feature called multi-device support that allows users to access the platform on a linked PC without requiring their phone to be connected to the Internet all the time. The website revealed additional instructions with a section titled “Register Device as Companion.” The instructions stated that users will need to scan a QR code with the primary device to complete setting up the secondary device.
WhatsApp is also developing and introducing a new feature called ‘Quick Reactions.’ Similar to Facebook and Instagram, the feature will allow the user to react with an emoji. The eight different reaction emojis include a smiling face with heart eyes, a face with tears of joy, a crying face, a person with folded hands, clapping hands, and more.
