WhatsApp has produced three new features over the next few weeks, according to WABetainfo.
According to the WhatsApp news tracker, the newest feature will allow a range of reactions to messages sent by anyone. Mark Zuckerberg had announced this release a few weeks ago. However, the rollout starts slowly, so it may take up to seven days for everyone to receive it.
WhatsApp will soon allow people to share their media files up to 2GB in size, protected by end-to-end encryption.
WABetainfo noted that WhatsApp will now be able to accommodate up to 512 people in one group. This is a helpful feature in the future, when WhatsApp allows its users to create individual communities within the app.
Taking to his Twitter handle, WhatsApp Head Will Cathcart also confirmed that these three features will be rolled out over the coming weeks.
We are making fast progress on shipping some Communities features 🙏
