The Pakistan International Airline (PIA) will start this year’s 2022 Hajj flight operations from June 6, reported on Tuesday.
The first Hajj flight will leave Islamabad for Madina on June 6, according to a PIA spokesperson. The Hajj flights to Saudi Arabia, according to PIA, will fly to Jeddah and Madinah.
“From May 31 to August 13, the national flag carrier will operate 400 pre- and post-Hajj flights,” Pakistan’s national flag carrier said that in a statement.
Hajj operation will be performed out from 8 cities of Pakistan along with Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan, Peshawar and Quetta, the spokesperson said in a statement.
The PIA will operate Boeing-777 for Hajj operations while Airbus A-320 will be used for flight operations from Quetta, according to the official spokesman.
