Why AC Imran Raza Abbasi Commits Suicide in Lahore

A government Grade 19 officer Imran Raza Abbasi committed suicide in his Lahore residence a day after being transferred from Islamabad.

According to police, Additional Commissioner Revenue Imran Raza Abbasi was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his apartment in the Faisal Town area.

After receiving information, local cops rushed to his home. His driver allegedly found him dead when he opened the door of his apartment.

Forensic teams arrived at the scene and collected evidence, while officials launched an investigation to determine what prompted Abbasi to commit suicide.

Meanwhile, the victim’s family has refused to have the body postmortem while the investigators await the medical report.

Imran Raza previously worked as the Director Anti-Corruption in Bahawalpur and Faisalabad.
