German Ambassador to Pakistan Bernhard Schlagheck and Sindh government spokesperson officially launched Pakistan’s first ultra-rapid Electric Vehicle (EV) station in Karachi on Tuesday.
“Electric vehicles are the future,” said German Ambassador to Pakistan Bernhard Schlagheck.
He expressed his delight that Germany was able to share ultra-rapid charging technology with Pakistan. “A simple but essential step toward the attempting to make transportation safe and secure for the environment! “#PakGermanDosti Zindabad,” the German envoy writes in a tweet.

He stated that this step will assist Pakistan in combating climate change. “Promoting technology through Public Private Partnership is a good initiative,” Bernhard stated.
Murtaza Wahab, a spokesperson for the Sindh government, stated that two solar parks inspired by this technology would be established in KMC.
He stated “Grateful to the intervention by LIBRA and Siemens Pakistan. Electric cars which are cost effective and environment friendly are now being registered in Sindh.”
According to LIBRA CEO Abdul Haseeb Khan, cars will now recharge in 15 to 20 minutes using this technology.
