Old Trafford: India’s batting against Pakistan continues in the main match of the CricketWorld Cup.

The main match of the Cricket World Cup in the Old Trafford Stadium is being played between the traditional rivals Pakistan and India, in which national team captain Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss against India and decided to field first.


India started an innings by Rohit Sharma and Lokesh Rahul, both the openers started an innings in confidence and made 163 runs in the first wicket partnership, both openers completed half-century but Lakshesh Rahul scored 57 runs and got out on the ball of Wahab Riaz while Rohit Sharma performed aggressively and scored 140 runs in an innings.

On the other hand, the British Department of Meteorology forecast to be affected by the rain-hit Pak-India, according to the Meteorological Department, rain could affect Pakistan runnings.

Shadab Khan and Amaad Waseem have been included in the national team by dropping Shahin Afridi and Asif Ali, while Vijay Shankar in the Indian team replaces Shakhar Dhawan.
