Apple hired a former Facebook manager to build its own advertising system

According to “Business Insider” reports, Martinez was appointed by Apple in April and will work in Cupertino, Silicon Valley.

When asked about these reports, Martinez and the company chose not to respond to anything related to recruitment. Previously, before 2016, Apple had its own advertising platform called iAd.

In the second quarter of 2021, Apple received $16.9 billion in revenue from its services (including App Store and advertising).
