A new phishing attack has occurred. This particular iteration takes the form of a false DMCA suspension notice for the Twitter user base. Nowadays, phishing attacks are almost commonplace. They develop a new version of cybersecurity threats almost every month, which is a private version. For those who don’t know, phishing attacks are essentially a type of Trojan horse. It comes in a harmless form, usually from an official source, such as a forged email or website.

By providing their personal information, an attacker can easily extract important information from it. Identity numbers, social security numbers, addresses, and credit card information may be compromised. As technology advances, phishing attacks have become more accurate. Just watching is not enough. In order to survive even seemingly harmless emails from unknown sources, and almost paranoid aura must be maintained. The final attack came from official direct news from Twitter.

Send messages to users who pretend to be DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act). strike. The help desk account accused users of copyright infringement and asked them to fill out a response form. If the response form is not completed within 48 hours (as indicated by the fake account), the account will be blocked. The link redirects them to a fake Twitter login form hosted on the Google website, where unsuspecting users provide all their login information to evil hackers.
