On Wednesday, Ariana Grande spoiled us with a stack of photos from her and Dalton Gomez’s wedding, and now we’ve got even more details about their special day and Ari’s look. Let’s get into it!
As we all know by now, Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez got married on May 15th in a small ceremony at Ari’s Montecito home in California.
As we previously reported, a source had told E! News that “Ariana kept the ceremony confidential from much of the world, inviting just close family and friends” to keep the celebration intimate.
But she was finally ready to share some moments from their wedding day with us fans, and as I said earlier, she spoiled us with not two but THREE posts. Ari immediately started trending on Twitter after sharing these stunning pics.
And shortly after she shared those feed posts, Ari took to her stories and re-shared Vera Wang’s posts about her dress. Can we talk about this iconic LEWK for a second?! It’s absolute perfection! From the veil to the dress, to those HEELS… let’s get a close up on how high those are, yaas Ari!
Ariana reposted Vera Wang’s post where they called her a “truly magical muse.” First, Ari revealed how much she loved Vera Wang; then she went into further detail in another slide writing, “honored and eternally grateful Vera Wang, thank you so much.” Ari also shared the Vogue exclusive article that took us behind the scenes of their big day.
Vera Wang shared details about Ariana’s dress revealing that it is a “custom lily-white silk charmeuse empire waist column gown accented with a sculpted neckline, an exposed bra strap closure, and a plunging back.” Sounds fit for our queen…
And Vogue also learned that the little details in Ariana’s look, like her earrings, were a nod to some of her eras of music. According to the outlet, her pearl and diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz were chosen to match her engagement ring, but she wore one upside-down as a nod to her “Sweetener” era.
Vogue added that “The meaning behind this is significant to Ariana, as it represents appreciating the lowest or the ‘upside down’ moments in her life and how they have contributed to where and who she is now.”
As for details on the ceremony, there were less than 20 close friends and family in attendance, and Ari was walked down the aisle by both her mom Joan Grande and her dad Ed Butera.
Ok, as if I wasn’t already crying before! All I can think about is Ari’s “thank u next lyric,” about walking down the aisle holding hands with her mama… but on her wedding day, both her mom and her dad walked her down the aisle. If you’ve been a fan of Ari for a long time, you know how special that must’ve been for her!
And in typical Ariana fashion, her dog Toulouse, who’s been with her through the many ups and downs of life, was also in attendance, looking as adorable as ever. And as for why they decided to get married at home?
Well, according to Vogue, the couple knew very early in the wedding planning process that they wanted to get married at home. And they made it absolutely beautiful with a stunning ceremony and intimate dinner to celebrate their love!
We are just so overjoyed and happy for them and can’t wait to continue to follow along their journey of happily ever after! If you want more on Ari and Dalton, stick around for more exciting news. Also, let us know down in the comments below what you thought of their gorgeous wedding photos.
