Microsoft is adding support for automatic HTTPS redirection to its Edge browser

Microsoft is always updating its features to protect the browsing experience of its customers. Since Microsoft updated Edge to 92, many new features have been developed. Microsoft announced a few months ago that Edge 92 will accept HTTPS by default. It has been in development since then and can now be tested.

In Edge 92, Microsoft is ready to introduce automated HTTPS features, but this automated feature is currently in test mode. Microsoft Edge 92 automatically directs users to HTTP over HTTPS websites. According to a Microsoft blog post, every time a user opens the Edge 92 application, the user will bring a new feature to the website.

When the website is opened via HTTP, the hacker can convert the content into a page or redirect the user to an unexpected destination. HTTPS provides a more secure connection and prevents hackers from accessing the content on the page. Therefore, most websites have HTTPS enabled and provide a good browsing experience. Some people think it is not automated and can be tested manually.

It can be easily activated by going to the edge. When you are done, restart your browser and look for settings, then go to privacy. Select the HTTPS secure browsing function and try the latest update. Technically speaking, HTTPS has a higher priority than HTTP when surfing. User privacy is more important, which is why the HTTPS connection ensures that the processing of each page is safe and anti-hacking. This update makes Microsoft Edge 92 more useful.
