Twitter is launching a beta version of its integration with the Revue newsletter, letting Revue creators to display subscriptions on their profiles
As technology and the Internet become more and more popular, the number of social media users is growing day by day. According to the survey, almost 56.8% of the world’s population is actively using social media platforms today.
The explosive growth in recent decades has made the social media industry one of the highest-paid industries today. This huge market and the multitude of sources of income that social media sites bring to their owners are truly attracting a lot of entrepreneurs and investors.
New and more innovative social media platforms, social media in a burgeoning marketplace, are now saturated with every platform fiercely fighting for its share. This is why different social platforms are trying new methods to grow their user base.
The common method that forms of social media are using today to retain as many users as possible is quite simple, and it makes the platform builder comfortable. This is because a creator-friendly platform generates money for the creator and at the same time makes life easier for him, forcing the creator to stay, and if the creator remains, the audience belongs to him too.
In the past year, a lot of ideas have surfaced on various social media platforms that could inspire authors, and most of them have proven to be quite successful. However, Twitter has come up with something more interesting than usual, another platform called Revue allows people to write newsletters that others can subscribe to. With Revue built into Twitter, Revue creators will be able to attach newsletters to their Twitter profiles. This will cause other people to buy your subscription bringing them a decent amount of money.
Users will be able to subscribe to the Revue newsletter using the subscribe button directly below the profile description. The Revue integration is currently available to the Revue creators group on Twitter, however, the integration is still an experimental feature so the newsletters will only be visible to a limited number of users. Twitter previously released a beta version of this feature, which has proven to be quite successful.
Now that the feature is about to launch, Twitter is hoping this integration will allow communities and content to thrive on Twitter. While the current version of Revue integration is still limited to testing, this is a huge step forward for Twitter, and since Twitter is a news and opinion-driven platform, This update could be successful.
