China Boosts Lead in 6G Internet Technology Development Race

According to the China National Intellectual Administration (CNIPA), China is leading the global competition to develop a workable 6G organization network, having licensed 35% of the almost 38,000 license’s associated with the technology.

Although it is unclear how artificial intelligence will be used to empower networks chipping away at terahertz waves – a frequency 1,000 times greater than that now used in 5G network gigahertz microwaves – it is a significant portion of the technologies that China has already worked out how to patent.

In 2030, the Asian nation wants to begin deploying fully functional 6G technology platform, with speeds of up to 50 gbit / s (which is multiple times quicker data transfer speed than the best M.2 SSD drives can presently deal with).
