The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia announced the Shawwal’ moon will be sighted on Saturday, which is the last day of Ramadan.
Saudi Arabia issued a statement that asked citizens to come forward if they see the crescent of Ramadan with their own eyes or through binoculars.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Dr Abdullatif Bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guide, has directed all responsible agencies to make plans for Eid prayers to be held at all mosques and outdoor worshipping venues.
On what day Eid falls according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar, Eid prayers will be performed 15 minutes after sunrise.
Saudi Arabia will observe four days of Eid holidays, starting on Sunday, in both private and non-profit sectors.
