PTI leader Shahbaz Gill sustained minor injuries in an accident on the motorway. Former special assistant to then-prime minister Imran Khan was travelling to Islamabad from Lahore. A motorway police official said the accident occurred near Khanqah Dogran.

A spokesman for the motorway police said that there is no evidence of any other vehicles being involved. The wounded will be sent to Islamabad after medical treatment, he added.
“My vehicle has upturned and I am injured in a mishap,” Gill a former Special Assistant to the PM in Imran Khan’s government.
