The provincial government has announced a minimum Rs 5 lakh for the heirs of the deceased, and a minimum Rs 2 lakh for the injured.
According to reports, Meher Group has sent 500 tents, 1,500 blankets and 1,000 folding beds for the victims
It should be noted that 9 innocent children were burnt to death in a terrible fire in the village of Meher.
Hundreds of cattle were killed and 60 houses were reduced to ashes in the blaze.
The dead included four siblings from the same family. That accident injured ten people, including four who are said to be in critical condition. The fire was started by the opponents of the victims.
