The Mars Volta Tour Dates 2022 Has Announced

The Mars Volta have returned. The band has posted its first new music since 2012’s Noctourniquet in the form of “Blacklight Shine,” and has also revealed dates for its first tour in a decade.

Omar Rodriguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zaval, the founding members of Mars Volta, are at their most approachable in “Blacklight Shine,” which rides a Caribbean-flavored feel that differs greatly from the group’s trademark frenzied art-rock. A little black-and-white clip with Caribbean dancers showcases the song.
